The curved bow shape, clearly defined armrests, and calm lines place this sofa within the design vocabulary of Art Deco. At 241 cm wide, it is a statement piece that anchors a room - as a focal point in the living room, lounge, or salon.
The construction beneath the upholstery confirms its age: coil springs on hand-nailed jute webbing. In serial production, this upholstery technique was replaced by prefabricated spring units after the 1950s, indicating that the sofa was made in the 1930s or 1940s.
No manufacturer's or designer's label is present. We are therefore deliberately offering the sofa without attribution and dating it solely according to its form and construction.

Delivery in and around Berlin takes place within 7 days by 2 men to the apartment.
Delivery throughout Germany usually takes place within 3 weeks from the delivery location and route planning of the shipping company.
We ask for your understanding for the sometimes long delivery times, which in exceptional cases can take a month or longer. Transporting antiques requires special care. In order to ensure reasonable transport costs, delivery will always take place in group transport, which requires appropriate lead times.
Shipping includes insured delivery by a shipping company specializing in antiques to the curb to the agreed address and takes place after receipt of payment and appointment with the buyer.
After purchasing, please let us know your telephone number or mobile phone number; this will be passed on to the shipping company to arrange an appointment. Extra costs may apply for island deliveries.
