Hauptstadt Möblerei is Berlin's largest second-hand furniture retailer. We started in 2015 in a small upholstery workshop in Kreuzberg. Today, in our showroom in Berlin-Lichtenberg, we give thousands of pieces of furniture a second life, from design classics to modern pieces. Over 24,000 customers, 4.9 stars on Google and Trustpilot.

We are looking for reinforcements for our showroom team in sales as soon as possible. Career changers are very welcome; we will teach you everything you need to know about furniture.

Responsibilities

• You advise our customers in the showroom and sell second-hand and modern furniture.
• You answer inquiries by phone, email and chat and support customers through the purchase up to collection or delivery.
• You keep the showroom in good shape and present new pieces attractively.
• You maintain customer data and orders on the computer.

Qualifications

• You speak German very well (at least C1) and have a good command of English; many of our customers are international.
• You enjoy approaching people and are good at advising them.
• You are comfortable using a computer.
• You are reliable, conscientious and enjoy working as part of a team.
• Experience in sales or retail is a plus, but not essential.
• You have an eye for interior design and an interest in furniture and vintage pieces.

• €2,800–3,300 gross per month, depending on experience
• Full-time, 40 hours over 5 days per week, working Monday to Saturday according to the schedule
